Sending your file
Make sure it is in pdf format before you send it and
always proof your job before printing.
Click here for our full list of operating systems and application
programs.
To accurately transfer your files to our printers and to avoid
any font substitution include all logos, image files, scans
and fonts (including those used in EPS files).
Colour matching
Digital printing relies on the use of
four Colours (CMYK) to produce all colours as opposed to your
computer screen which only uses three (RGB). This means not all
Pantone (PMS) colours are available.
- Convert all PMS colours to 4 colour process
- Save all scans and colour images as CMYK
- Avoid using duotones, indexed colour or RGB.
- Hard copy proofs are always available

Plan Printing
Always save files to be set up for print in
the actual size that is required.
Illustrator and Indesign
When using these programs always outline
the fonts being used in the project.
This will reduce the chance of
text moving or corruption from other
fonts.
Cropping
To ensure your image is not incorrectly cropped
during printing please allow margins
of … leading edge 5mm and other
edges 3mm
Laminating
Before requesting laminating check that the
material can be laminated. Faxes, ultrasound
or anything with a waxy finish,
even a crayon drawing may be damaged
by the heat in the process
